Song: Bluebonnets (Julia's Song)
Album: The Underdog
Yes, I've shared an Aaron Watson song before and I gave you a look into his life. Remember the part about he and his wife losing their daughter recently? Well, Aaron wrote this song for her. Their baby girl, Julia. It gives me chills. I love it so much. This song brought tears to my eyes. Aaron's faith in God shines through in this song. I'm not going to write a lot on this because the song speaks for itself.
I will share a quote from Aaron himself:
"I've been floored at all the beautiful responses from Julia's song "Bluebonnets" since releasing it to iTunes last Tuesday. This picture of our kids is the inspiration behind the song. Our friend took this picture at Julia's little country cemetery around Easter 2012 which was about 6 months after losing Julia. I had such an overwhelming mixture of emotions seeing Jake, Jack & Jolee Kate smiling in a field of bluebonnets while having the place we laid their little sister to rest in the distance behind them. If you look closely you can see the tombstones in the background.
I went home that night and wrote down these words... "Pack light & love heavy, give it all your heart and soul and in the end you won't regret one thing... Life is like bluebonnets in the spring"
"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8
"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4" --Aaron Watson
What a beautiful song! RIP little Julia
